Well Built Websites was formed by myself, Mark O’Brien, an early retiree from the corporate IT world. I have over 20 years experience in the design, building and implementation of solutions for customers ranging from small family businesses to some of Australia’s biggest companies.
After retiring from corporate life and moving into rural Australia to a beachside town I was amazed at the lack of online presence from a lot of local businesses. With the majority of customers now searching for and researching their purchasing decisions online it seemed very strange to me that businesses would chose to forgo focusing any attention on this area.
So I did some asking around and kept hearing horror stories about businesses being locked into expensive contracts which when terminated found their access to the website and content was removed with no hope of recovery.
